RAW vs. JPEG

Part 1
3 Advantages of Raw
    1. Highest level of quality
    2. Get better detail in image 
    3. Professionals would suggest using raw
1 Disadvantage 
    1. Raw images have not yet been processed. 


Part 2

1. Write your own one sentence definition of what a JPEG file is.
Very small files for images use for emails or websites. Its often used on digital camera memory cards.
2. Write your own one sentence definition of what a RAW file is.
Much bigger files that are not yet processed, not ready to be printed or edited.
Where raw varies is that is doesn't process

Where RAW varies is that it doesn’t process the photo within the camera, it captures all the data and retains all the information without compressing it, preserving all the information in all the pixels within the image.

Part 4

RAW - Whenever you know you might be editing it later, whenever you don't know what type of file you want it to be it would be good to be able to edit it to a different file when you know, also whenever you want to be able to put it in lightroom.JPEG - Whenever you want the picture to take up as least space as you can, whenever you know you will want the image to be a JPEG.
